The Classes

Hatha Raja Yoga: Classic yoga practice with an extended stay in positions, breathing should be calm and position will be stable and comfortable.

Dharma / Vinyasa Yoga: The practice is based on the Shiva Namaskar Vinyasa series, developed by Master Sri Dharma Mittra. The practice combines classic asanas, challenging asanas and free Vinyasa Yoga Nidra (deep relaxation yoga), pranayama and meditation.

Satsang and Meditation: Spiritual Lessons we learn about Yogi philosophy in everyday life.

Pranayama: The classes of Pranayama & Kriya Yoga are based on ancient methods for controlling the life force, methods to cleanse the body and mind as well as meditation sessions. Explore pranayama, the practice to center your attention on the breath in different ways. Together we will experience the benefits of breathing in order to apply them in different situations of our daily life: how to use breathing to calm the nervous system and to increase the power of vital energy. You will also learn about yoga nadis (psychic channels) and the chakras (energy circuits).

How to get to the Retreat?
By car: Soronells is located in the region of “Les Guilleries” in forest and mountain area. The nearest villages are Espinelves (15 km) and Sant Hilari Sacalm (12 km). GPS coordinates of the entrance to the path of Soronells: 41.889464, 2.434477

By train: Take the train from Barcelona to Vic. In Vic there is no public transport to the retreat center. We can organize that a taxi picks you up at Vic train station. Costs: 35-40 Euros. If you share the taxi with 4 people, will be maximum 10 Euros/one way.

Shahar Abiad
Shahar is an experienced yoga teacher & therapist, he was born in Argentina and moved to Israel in 2000. Currently, he is living in Barcelona.Shahar began to practice yoga as a process of self-realization, ever since he continues to explore and study the discipline. The philosophy of yoga is now an important pillar of his way of life. After years of daily practice, he was certified to teach yoga by the legendary Master Yogi Sri Dharma Mittra. Shahar teaches yoga every day for all levels, leads workshops and retreats for yoga teachers in Israel, Europe & Argentina. During more than 5 years he was the reflexology therapist and holistic therapist at Reuth Medical Center, Tel Aviv (with experience in rehabilitation wards & intensive care respirators).
